Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy
Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) helps improve oral function by addressing issues such as mouth breathing, improper swallowing, and poor oral posture. Through simple, non-invasive exercises, OMT strengthens and retrains the muscles of the mouth, face, and tongue to support proper function and consistent nasal breathing.
The muscles of the face and oral cavity work together as an integrated system. When this balance is disrupted by factors such as nasal obstruction, oral habits, tongue ties, or birth-related challenges, oral function can be affected. OMT helps restore healthy muscle patterns, improving coordination, breathing, and overall oral health.
